Why is it important to join the club?

While it cost nothing to join the club, the value of membership is great.  Each member brings us closer to our first milestone goal of 1,000 people; but more importantly, the more members means more visibility to the cause.

Why Silver instead of gold?

Both metals have a long established precedence of being ideal for currency; both require actual labor to pull from the ground and refine, both are durable and long lasting.  Silver however represents the people, as most transactions in a day to day basis are the equivalent to an ounce of silver or less. 

Right now you can also get more silver for your USD’s then gold, which is necessary for a working currency. 

Will gold ever be part of the currency?

Yes.  One day it will be an auxiliary to Silver.  But that is long down the road and only after we have a thriving Texas Currency.

Is a private currency legal?

Yes!

Why become a Non Profit Company?

Right now banks are For Profit Companies and right now they are the primary reason our money is losing more and more purchasing power every single day.  For Profit banks strive to do anything that will benefit them regardless of what it does to the People and our money supply.  In fact, because of For Profit banks we have lost about 95% of our purchasing power since the creation of the central bank known as the Federal Reserve in 1913.

This is unacceptable.

The Vault is designed to change this.  Not only by using intrinsic metal as the currency, which is a commodity and virtually immune to devaluation; The Vault will remain a transparent Non Profit Organization to preserve its own integrity and to maintain its intended role as a public servant to the People of Texas.

What exactly is the role of The Vault?

To be a storehouse of wealth for People of Texas.  Every single TEXAS Certificate is a Silver Certificate that can be exchanged for Silver at anytime at The Vault.  With this storehouse of wealth in place, Texas will become largely immune to the ever increasing negative effects of the USD while our purchasing power is preserved.

Why do we want/need this?

The Federal Reserve and Commercial banks in this country have been running amok for too long.  They are perpetuating a dangerous cycle that has always destroyed nations.  If we do not act now, whether this year or in ten years we will join the rest of this Country’s currency calamity that can easily leave us a third world country.

Right now foreign countries hold large swaths of our currency and debt.  If they return our debt we will fall to hyperinflation where the cost of bread will easily top hundreds of thousands if not millions per loaf.

Conversely, as the talk of a ‘new world reserve currency’ becomes louder and louder- these countries can, at any time, start using our money that they hold massive reserves of and start buying our goods out from underneath us.  This will make goods harder to come by and more expensive!  This is a very bad scenario considering how little we manufacture these days.

An active stable, intrinsic currency will not cure everything, but it will protect against the worst.  For if hyperinflation runs rampant- the value of silver will also go up meaning Texas Dollars buying power will remain stable.  And even in scenario two, protecting our purchasing power means we can better compete for our own resources.

Why wait with the Vault and TEXAS certificates?

Truth is; it takes a lot of unity and money to implement something this grand.  But even the longest journey starts with a single step.

Our club membership is the means to pay for those goals.  But in the mean time you can still begin to look after your own wealth’s well being.  Join the club and start buying silver now!

This is beneficial two ways: first, you are saving something intrinsic.  So no matter what happens down the line you have your own storehouse of wealth.  Second, when we reach the stage where the currency goes live, you will have the ability to exchange some, or all of your silver for Texas Dollars that you can save or spend at your discretion.

The Liberty Dollar got raided; what will protect this idea from having its wealth stolen by the government and fed?

One of the best questions out there.  The Vault will conduct itself under complete transparency.  This gives both members and government the ability to see into the inner workings of The Vault and gives less inclination to try and shut us down.  Another major difference is that The Vault does not operate with any US dollars.  

The Liberty Dollar was charged with money laundering because it took US dollars and exchanged them for silver.  The Vault only accepts Silver and will issue TEXAS certificates in like kind.

Coupled with the fact that it is not a bank and will have several layers of internal auditing should keep us from getting the government involved negatively and will allow us to build a great private intrinsic currency.  

What about Taxes?

The solution I have found for dealing with Taxes once the currency goes live is to simply take the yearly spot average for silver, multiply it by the number of TEXAS 20's you have earned to get there FRN equivalent and then do your taxes like normal.  

I can assure you as time goes by and more people, especially those with tax backgrounds get enrolled, better solutions will be found.  But until then, this system is solid, fair and should keep you out of any hot water with the IRS.

Can I donate?

Yes, donations are always welcome to help us create this necessary Texas Currency.

However, there is something more you can do that is probably more important- get others involved.  Currency affects us all equally, so please spread the word and help others understand the importance of this issue.  Ignorance in money is what has allowed this vicious cycle of debt and wealth confiscation to continue as long as it has.
