As a kid, when my parents gave me a dollar and told me I could get whatever I wanted, I always opted
to keep the dollar. As I grew I began to noticing prices rising and started to wonder 'why'? I started
to read, and the more I read the less I liked the system which we are currently slaved too.
I first moved to Austin
in 1999, and in 2002 I found a job with a company called Health South. I worked in the RBO, which was the administrative
half of the company which specialized in physical and occupational therapy. During the next five years I got to witness
first hand the greed and corruption that people fall victim to. Richard Scrushy did to his company what Ken Lay did
to Enron- and all of us in the RBO lost our jobs in 2007 because of it.
Over the next couple years I decided to try
to do things differently. Instead of finding another corporation to work for, I started working for myself, I ran a
teeth whitening business and did some freelance art, but for some reason my thoughts always went back to currency. Finally
it clicked and I tore open my old notes from years past and started to revise them. Pulling together the wisdom I had
learned from my own experiences and combining it with what had been discovered by other people and companies who have tried
to start private currencies; I tweaked what they did wrong and borrowed what they did right.
I see the writing on the
wall; talk of the world dropping the USD as the reserve currency, concerted efforts by corrupt politicians to protect the
Federal Reserve from proper auditing, the fact that our GDP represents consumption over growth and how we as a country are
digging ourselves deeper and deeper into debt with an actual negative savings rate.
The time to protect ourselves is now. The time to create a new standard which goods and services are measured
can no longer wait.
So, I present to you years of labor, of brainstorming and soul searching; for currency is the one
thing that we all share. And together we can reclaim it.
Thank you,
